Justice League Dark (film)
''Justice League Dark'' is a 2017 American adult animated science fantasy superhero film produced by Warner Bros. Animation and distributed by Warner Home Video. Featuring the DC Comics team of the same name created by Peter Milligan and Mikel JanÃn, the film is the 28th of the DC Universe Animated Original Movies and the eighth of the DC Animated Movie Universe. Unlike most installments in the DC Animated Universe Movies series, ''Justice League Dark'' features an original premise. The film stars Matt Ryan as John Constantine and Jason O'Mara as Batman, reprising their respective roles from previous media. It was released on Digital HD on January 24, 2017, and on DVD and Blu-ray on February 7. A sequel, '' Justice League Dark: Apokolips War'', was released in May 2020. Jay Oliva
Jay Oliva is an American storyboard artist, film producer and animated film director working at Los Angeles-based animation studio Lex+Otis. Career Oliva first started in animation as a cleanup artist for the animated Fox TV series '' Spider-Man'' in 1996, where he eventually started his career as a storyboard artist. He then moved to Sony Animation in 1997 and storyboarded on ''Extreme Ghostbusters''. He would stay at Sony for the next five years where he worked on '' Godzilla: The Series'' and then eventually becoming a director on the animated TV series '' Roughnecks: The Starship Troopers Chronicles'' which was then followed by ''Heavy Gear'' and ''Max Steel''. Before leaving Sony, he storyboarded on ''Jackie Chan Adventures''. The DC Universe Animated Original Movies (DCUAOM; also known as DC Universe Original Movies or DC Universe Movies or DC Animated Movies) are a series of American direct-to-video superhero animated films based on the DC Comics characters and stories. From 2007 to 2022, films were produced primarily by Warner Bros. Animation, but will fall under DC Studios Animation. Many films are usually stand-alone projects that are either adaptations of popular works or original stories. From 2013 to 2020, the DC Animated Movie Universe was a subset of this series featuring several movies that took place in a shared universe, influenced predominantly by The New 52. The following is a list of characters in the Hellblazer mythos published by Vertigo imprint. John Constantine A Liverpudlian magician and conman, and the main character in the series. He first appeared in ''Swamp Thing'' (vol. 2) #37 in June 1985. In his early appearances, Constantine was depicted as a sorcerer of questionable morality, whose appearance was based on that of the musician Sting (specifically, as Sting appeared in the movies ''Brimstone and Treacle'' and ''Quadrophenia'').
