Juno Sauler
Marco Januz "Juno" Sauler (born 5 March 1973) is a basketball coach and former basketball player from the Philippines. He was a former head coach of the De La Salle University Green Archers, a collegiate team in the UAAP. Sauler is currently part of coaching staff of the Magnolia Hotshots in the Philippine Basketball Association. Early years and playing career Sauler was born in Baguio on 5 March 1973. His father, Jun, had also played collegiate varsity basketball and is credited with teaching his son the game. Sauler studied in De La Salle Santiago Zobel School from the Preparatory level to High School. In his junior and senior years he played power forward / center in varsity basketball for the Golden Bengals (now known as the Junior Archers) from 1988 to 1990 in the UAAP. Baguio
Baguio ( , ), officially the City of Baguio ( ilo, Siudad ti Baguio; fil, Lungsod ng Baguio), is a 1st class highly urbanized city in the Cordillera Administrative Region, Philippines. The 2006–07 PBA Philippine Cup Finals was the championship series of the 2006-07 PBA season's 2006-07 PBA Philippine Cup of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). The series was a best of seven affair and was the 92nd championship disputed in the league. The teams competing are first-seed Barangay Ginebra Kings and the second-seed San Miguel Beermen, two of the four San Miguel Corporation-owned teams. San Miguel won the first two games of the series, with Game 2 going down to the wire; Ginebra then won the next two games with 30-point leads. In the pivotal fifth game, the Beermen faltered in the end game as the Kings lead the series for the first time. The Zobel Junior Archers (officially the De La Salle Zobel Junior Archers) is the varsity team of De La Salle Santiago Zobel School and is the Juniors' team of De La Salle University's De La Salle Green Archers in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines. Its girls' team, the Lady Junior Archers, is De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde's Junior's team to the Women's National Collegiate Athletic Association. UAAP Season 70 Men's Basketball Tournament
The UAAP Season 70 men's basketball tournament is the flagship tournament of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) basketball championships. The University of Santo Tomas (UST) is the season's host. The games began on July 7 at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City with the resurgent De La Salle Green Archers defeating the UP Fighting Maroons in the first game. La Salle, which was suspended on the previous tournament, went on to win the championship, sweeping the UE Red Warriors 2–0 in the Finals series. UE on the other hand, had the distinction of sweeping the double round eliminations 14–0, capped by a win against La Salle in overtime on their last elimination round game.
