Juan Maino
Juan Bosco Maino Canales (died 1976?) was a photographer, political activist, and opponent of Augusto Pinochet's regime in Chile. He was a leader in the Movimiento de Acción Popular Unitaria (''United Popular Action Movement''). He was detained on May 26, 1976 by agents of Dirección de Inteligencia Nacional (DINA) agents and disappeared. Early life Juan Maino was an engineering graduate from Universidad Técnica del Estado (State Technical University) and a militant and dirigent of the Movimiento de Acción Popular Unitaria. He was working on his thesis in mechanical engineering with classmate Antonio Elizondo Ormachea. Arrest Two days before his arrest, on May 24, 1976, around 3 p.m., Andrés Rekas Urra, the brother of Elizabeth Rekas Urra who, in turn, was the wife of Elizondo, was arrested by DINA agents. Juan Guzmán Tapia
Juan Salvador Guzmán Tapia (; 22 April 1939 – 22 January 2021) was a Chilean judge. He was the first Chilean judge to lead investigations and prosecute Augusto Pinochet for violations of human rights during his dictatorship between 1973 and 1990. As a special prosecutor, he used novel legal strategies to hold Pinochet and members of his military regime accountable for the killings and human rights violations during this period. Early life Guzmán was born on 22 April 1939 into a Chilean diplomatic family of Basque descent in San Salvador, El Salvador. His father Juan Guzmán Cruchaga was a diplomat and a poet, while his mother was involved in the arts, having been trained in theater and sculpture. A missing person is a person who has disappeared and whose status as alive or dead cannot be confirmed as their location and condition are unknown. ''Highway One'' is a 1977 Australian documentary film by Steve Otton, which features Trudie Adams. Plot Adventures of a group of surfers who travel the coast surfing and showing "Morning of the Earth". Colonia Dignidad
Colonia Dignidad ("Dignity Colony") was an isolated colony of Germans established in post- World War II Chile by emigrant Germans which became notorious for the internment, torture, and murder of dissidents during the military dictatorship of General Augusto Pinochet in the 1970s while under the leadership of German emigre preacher Paul Schäfer. Colonia Dignidad has been described as a "state within a state". Schäfer and members of the colony were deeply religious and followed the teachings of William Branham.
