Jore (film)
''Jore'' is a 2004 Indian Tamil-language action comedy film directed by Selva, starring Sathyaraj and Sibiraj. The film, produced by C. Swarupa Lakshmi and C. Sarat Babu, had musical score by Deva and was released on 11 June 2004. The film was opened to positive reviews from the film critics and audience. Plot Sabapathy (Sathyaraj) is a widower who owns a cinema theater and school. He treats his son Sakthi ( Sibiraj) like his friend. At college, he rode a horse into the sunset (Gajala), the daughter of a corrupt politician named Lingam (Kota Srinivasa Rao). Afterwards, Lingam's son Vijay ( Ramana) clashes against Sakthi at the college election. Despite having support from his father, Vijay loses the election. Lingam then enters into the conflict. In the end, Sakthi kills both Lingam and Vijay. Selva (fl. 1990s) is an Indian director active in Tamil film. He often specializes in film remakes and directed a series of hits the 1990s. His first film '' Thalaivasal'' launched the career of many. Thambi Ramaiah is an Indian actor, director and comedian who works in the Tamil film industry. He has also worked occasionally as a lyricist. Karthik (singer)
Karthik (born 7 November 1980) is an Indian playback singer and composer. Karthik started his professional singing career as a backing vocalist and has since been working as a playback singer. He has sung more than 8000 songs in 15 Indian languages including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Odia, Bengali, Marathi and Hindi. Kabilan (born 16 May 1977) is an Indian lyricist, poet and actor who predominantly works in Tamil cinema. Piraisoodan (6 February 1956 – 8 October 2021) was a Tamil poet and lyricist. He won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Lyricist for his songs in movies like ''Thayagam'', '' En Rasavin Manasile'' and ''Neeyum Naanum'' in 1996, 1991 and 2010 respectively.
