Jordan Young (footballer)
Jordan John Young (born 31 July 1999) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for Yeovil Town. He previously played in the Football League for Swindon Town. Born in England, Young has represented Scotland at youth level. Club career Young began his career at Swindon Town, joining the youth set up at the age of eight, and turned down the chance to join Chelsea's Academy in November 2011. He was called up to the Scotland under-15s in April 2014. He made his debut in the Football League on 2 February 2016, coming on for Jermaine Hylton 62 minutes into a 1–0 defeat to Port Vale at Vale Park. Young then made his home debut and scored his first professional goal in the last game of the 2015–16 season against Shrewsbury Town. Chippenham
Chippenham is a market town in northwest Wiltshire, England. It lies northeast of Bath, west of London, and is near the Cotswolds Area of Natural Beauty. The town was established on a crossing of the River Avon and some form of settlement is believed to have existed there since before Roman times. It was a royal vill, and probably a royal hunting lodge, under Alfred the Great. The town continued to grow when the Great Western Railway arrived in 1841. The town had a population of 36,548 in 2021. Geography Location Chippenham is in western Wiltshire, at a prominent crossing of the River Avon, between the Marlborough Downs to the east, the southern Cotswolds to the north and west and Salisbury Plain to the southeast. 2018–19 Southern Football League
The 2018–19 season is the 116th in the history of the Southern League since its establishment in 1894. The league (known as Evo-Stik League Southern, following a sponsorship deal with Evo-Stik) has two Premier divisions (Central and South) at step 3 of the National League System (NLS) and two Division One divisions (Central and South) at step 4 of the NLS. This is the first season to consist of four divisions in the league, following a shakeup of the Southern, Isthmian, and Northern Premier Leagues divisions by geographical region. The Southern League was chosen to create a new division at Step 3; the 21 clubs remaining from the Premier Division the previous season were split into two new Premier divisions; Central and South.
