John Karkazis, better known as Johnny K, is an American record producer, engineer, mixer, musician, and songwriter. He owns Groovemaster Recording Studios in Chicago. In addition to the studios, his music complex includes a gymnasium, rehearsal rooms, and pre-production Pre-production is the process of planning some of the elements involved in a film, television show, play, or other performance, as distinct from production and post-production. 10 is the 9th studio album, and 10th overall release by the Rock band Enuff Z'Nuff. By fans, it is sometimes seen as the poppier counterpart to their harder sounding ''Paraphernalia'' record, as both albums were recorded and released during a similar time frame. The album cover art for '10' is a direct reference to the band's debut album, released a decade earlier. While the original U.S. edition of the album included a video for the single "There Goes My Heart" in QuickTime format, '10' was released first in Japan through the Pony Canyon label. The band also toured Japan in 2000 in support of the CD, which peaked at #60 on the Japanese music charts. ''XIII'' is the fourth studio album by American heavy metal band Mushroomhead, released on October 14, 2003. The album reached No. 40 on the ''Billboard'' 200 and sold 400,000 copies worldwide making it the band's most successful album to date. Finger Eleven is a Canadian Rock music, rock band from Burlington, Ontario, formed in 1990. They have released seven studio albums (six as Finger Eleven and one as Rainbow Butt Monkeys), with their album ''The Greyest of Blue Skies'' bringing them into the mainstream. Their 2003 Finger Eleven (album), self-titled album achieved Gold status in the United States and Platinum in Canada, largely from the success of the single "One Thing (Finger Eleven song), One Thing", which marked the band's first placing on the US Hot 100 Chart at number 16. ''Finger Eleven'' is the third studio album by the Canadian rock band Finger Eleven from Burlington, Ontario. The sounds on this album range from grunge and prog-rock to Electric Six-style disco metal. Because of its commercial success, they were welcomed to the SnoCore 2004 tour. "One Thing" became the biggest single from this record, reaching 16 on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100. It was also played consistently on rock radio and MTV. Machine Head (band)
Machine Head is an American heavy metal band from Oakland, California. The band was formed in 1991 by vocalist/rhythm guitarist Robb Flynn, who remains the only original member of the band. Machine Head's aggressive musicianship made it one of the pioneering bands in the new wave of American heavy metal. Its current lineup comprises Flynn, bassist Jared MacEachern, lead guitarist Wacław Kiełtyka and drummer Matt Alston. ''Supercharger'' is the fourth album by the heavy metal band Machine Head. The release was ill-timed, and, as a result of little promotion, fell far short of the success of ''The Burning Red,'' which has sold about 134,000 copies in the US to date. ''Supercharger'' has sold about 45,000 copies in the US to date, making it a commercial failure. It is the band's last release to feature lead guitarist Ahrue Luster. Album information ''Supercharger'' was released in October, 2001, just weeks after the 9/11 terrorist attacks. No One (band)
No One was an American four-piece nu metal band from Chicago, Illinois. They released one studio album through Immortal Records in August 2001 to minimal success. No One has performed on Ozzfest and alongside the likes of Slipknot and System of a Down. After lagging commercial success, the group disbanded in 2003. They reformed in 2010 and began performing concerts again. Two of their members, guitarist B-Larz (Bob Bielarz) and bassist Flare (Mike Flaherty), died in 2014 and 2019 respectively, and No One remains mostly inactive as of 2022. Career Vocalist Murk and guitarist B-Larz originally came together in 1994 under the name Black Talon. With the addition of bassist Flare and drummer Billy K, No One was born. They played their first concert on August 5, 2000 at Champ’s.
