John Silvanus Wilson, Jr.
John Silvanus Wilson, Jr. is an American academic administrator who served as the 11th president of Morehouse College from 2013 to 2017. Before returning to lead his alma mater in 2013, Wilson served in the United States Department of Education, at George Washington University, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Robert Michael Franklin, Jr
Robert Michael Franklin Jr. (born February 22, 1954) is an American author, theologian, ordained minister, and academic administrator who served as the tenth president of Morehouse College from 2007 to 2012. Franklin is a visiting scholar in residence at Stanford University's Martin Luther King Jr. Research and Education Institute. In January 2014, he became director of the religion program at the Chautauqua Institution. Early life and education A native of Chicago, Franklin graduated from Morgan Park High School. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Morehouse College, Master of Divinity from Harvard Divinity School, and a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago Divinity School. White House
The White House is the official residence and workplace of the president of the United States. It is located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW in Washington, D.C., and has been the residence of every U.S. president since John Adams in 1800. Andover Newton Theological School (ANTS) was a graduate school and seminary in Newton, Massachusetts. Affiliated with the American Baptist Churches USA and the United Church of Christ. Benjamin Elijah Mays (August 1, 1894 – March 28, 1984) was an American Baptist minister and American rights leader who is credited with laying the intellectual foundations of the American Civil rights movement (1896–1954), civil rights movement. Mays taught and mentored many influential activists, including Martin Luther King Jr., Martin Luther King Jr, Julian Bond, Maynard Jackson, and Donn Clendenon, among others.
