John Randle
John Anthony Randle (born December 12, 1967) is an American former professional football player who was a defensive tackle for the Minnesota Vikings and the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL). He was a six-time first-team All-Pro and seven-time Pro Bowler. His 137.5 sacks rank 10th all-time overall and 1st among defensive tackles. On February 6, 2010, he was voted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He played college football at Texas A&M–Kingsville, went undrafted and is considered one of the greatest undrafted players of all time. A defensive tackle (DT) is a position in American football that will typically line up on the line of scrimmage, opposite one of the offensive guards, however he may also line up opposite one of the tackles. Defensive tackles are typically the largest and strongest of the defensive players.
