Joelle Taylor
Joelle Taylor is a poet, playwright and author. She settled in London after hitchhiking there from Lancashire, where she was brought up. Career In 2000, Taylor was UK Performance Poetry slam Champion. She founded SLAMbassadors, the UK’s national youth slam championships, for Poetry Society, The Poetry Society in 2001, and was its artistic director and national coach until 2018. Her collection, ''Songs My Enemy Taught Me'' was published by longtime collaborator Anthony Anaxagorou in 2017, through his company, OutSpoken Press, Out-Spoken Press, and she has contributed the foreword to a children's poetry anthology published in 2017 by Otter-Barry Books. She was awarded a Fellowship of the Arts in 2016, and was long listed for the Jerwood Compton Poetry Fellowship in 2017. She has toured the UK several times as a solo poet, as well as Australia and South East Asia in 2018. She is the poet in residence at a number of schools, and performs and teaches across the country. Anthony Anaxagorou is a British-born Cypriot poet, writer, publisher and educator. His published work includes several volumes of poetry, non-fiction and a collection of short stories. His second poetry collection, ''After the Formalities'' (Penned in the Margins) was shortlisted for the T.S. Eliot Prize 2019. In 2020 he published ''How To...Write It'' with Merky Books (a Penguin Books imprint curated by Stormzy). Early life Anthony Anaxagorou is of Cypriot origin. Combustion, or burning, is a high-temperature exothermic redox chemical reaction between a fuel (the reductant) and an oxidant, usually atmospheric oxygen, that produces oxidized, often gaseous products, in a mixture termed as smoke. Lancashire
Lancashire ( , ; abbreviated Lancs) is the name of a historic county, ceremonial county, and non-metropolitan county in North West England. The boundaries of these three areas differ significantly. The non-metropolitan county of Lancashire was created by the Local Government Act 1972. It is administered by Lancashire County Council, based in Preston, and twelve district councils. Although Lancaster is still considered the county town, Preston is the administrative centre of the non-metropolitan county. The ceremonial county has the same boundaries except that it also includes Blackpool and Blackburn with Darwen, which are unitary authorities.
