Joe Machnik
Joe Machnik (born January 13, 1943) is an American soccer player, coach, referee, and broadcaster. He is highly regarded for his contributions to the sport in the USA. On August 3, 2017, he was elected to the National Soccer Hall of Fame on the builder ballot. Player Machnik was a soccer player at the LIU Brooklyn, Brooklyn Campus of Long Island University. In 1962, he was honored as an All-American goalkeeper. He was a member of the New York Ukrainians, winner of the 1965 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, U.S. Open Cup. 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup
The 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup was the 12th CONCACAF Gold Cup competition and the 22nd CONCACAF regional championship overall in CONCACAF's fifty years of existence. The United States was the host nation. The competition began on 7 July 2013 at the Rose Bowl, and ended with the final on 28 July 2013 at Soldier Field, with the United States defeating Panama 1–0. In this edition of the Gold Cup, Mexico participated with an alternative squad due to the main players competing at the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup prior to the Gold Cup.
