Jessica Rae Springsteen (born December 30, 1991) is an American equestrian. The daughter of musicians Bruce Springsteen and Patti Scialfa, she is a show jumping champion rider who has represented the United States Equestrian Team in international competition and won a silver medal in the Team jumping at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in 2021 in Tokyo. Early life Jessica Rae Springsteen was born on December 30, 1991, the second child and only daughter of musicians Bruce Springsteen and Patti Scialfa. She has one older brother, Evan James Springsteen (born 1990), and one younger brother, Samuel Ryan Springsteen (born 1994). When she and her brothers reached school-going age in the early 1990s, their parents left Los Angeles with them specifically to raise a family in a non-paparazzi environment. The Equestrianism, equestrian events at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo featured three disciplines for both individual and team competitions. Originally scheduled for 25 July – 8 August 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the games had been postponed with the equestrian events set for 24 July – 7 August 2021. Qualification The 200 quota places for equestrian were divided between the three disciplines (75 for jumping, 65 for eventing, and 60 for dressage). Edwina Tops-Alexander (born 29 March 1974) is an Australian showjumper known for her participation in three Olympics, finishing in the top ten twice. She is the first Australian to place in the top 10 at the World Equestrian Games and the first rider to earn more than €1 million in prize money on the Global Champions Tour. She is Australia's most decorated female equestrian. Tops-Alexander began riding at age eight through her local Pony Club. In 1995, she won the Australian Young Rider's Championship. Peter Charles
Peter Charles, (born 1 January 1960) is an Irish-British equestrian who competes in the sport of show jumping. Originally a competitor for Great Britain, Charles changed nationalities to Irish in 1992. In 2007, he relinquished his status as an Irish rider and once again began representing Great Britain. He was in the British team which won the gold medal at the 2012 Olympics. Charles was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2013 New Year Honours for services to equestrianism.
