Jehyve Floyd (born June 27, 1997) is an American professional basketball player for Galatasaray Nef of the Basketbol Süper Ligi (BSL). Born and raised in Parlin, New Jersey, Floyd played high school basketball at Sayreville War Memorial. He played college basketball for the Holy Cross Crusaders, where he was named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year in both 2018 and 2019. High school career Floyd began his high school tenure at Sayreville War Memorial High School, in Sayreville, New Jersey for head coach John Wojcik. During his high school career, Floyd was selected as Sayreville's Breakout Player of the Year in 2014 and earned first team All-Conference honors while serving as team captain during his senior season. The center (C), or the centre, also known as the five or the pivot, is one of the five positions in a regulation basketball game. The center is normally the tallest player on the team, and often has a great deal of strength and body mass as well. In the NBA, the center is typically close to tall. They traditionally play close to the basket in the low post. Greek Basket League
The Greek Basket League (GBL), often also referred to as the Greek A1 Basketball League, or Greek Basketball Championship (originally called Panhellenic Basketball Championship), and also known as the Stoiximan Basket League for sponsorship reasons, is the first tier level professional basketball league in Greece. It is run by HEBA ( el, ΕΣΑΚΕ, link=no), under the legal authority of the Hellenic Basketball Federation (E.O.K.). It is the highest-tier level of the Greek league system. The Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) ( English language: ''Federal Basketball League''), for sponsorship reasons named easyCredit BBL, is the highest level league of professional club basketball in Germany. The league comprises 18 teams. A BBL season is split into a league stage and a playoff stage. At the end of the league stage, the top eight teams qualify for the playoff stage, and the teams positioned in the 17th and 18th places are relegated to a lower-tier league. The playoffs are played in a "Best of five" format. The winning team of the final round are crowned the German Champions of that season. National Basketball Association (NBA) teams took turns selecting amateur United States college basketball players and other eligible players, including international players. Bill Carmody
William D. Carmody (born December 4, 1951) is a retired American men's college basketball coach, formerly the head coach at the College of the Holy Cross. He was the head coach of the Wildcats men's basketball team at Northwestern University from 2000 through 2013. From 1996 through 2000, Carmody was the head coach at Princeton University. Early life and education Carmody was born in Rahway, New Jersey, and grew up in Spring Lake, where he attended St. Rose High School, a Roman Catholic private school, in nearby Belmar. He attended and graduated from Union College in Schenectady, New York, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history in 1975. 2019 Patriot League Men's Basketball Tournament
The 2019 Patriot League men's basketball tournament was the postseason tournament for the Patriot League during the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. It was held on March 5, 7, 10, and 13, with the higher seed in each match up hosting at their respective campus sites. No. 1 seed Colgate defeated Bucknell 94–80 in the championship game to win the conference tournament championship, and the conference's automatic bid to the 2019 NCAA tournament.
