Janko Nilović (born 20 May 1941) is a pianist, arranger and composer of Montenegrin and Greek descent who was born in Turkey and has lived in France since 1960. He has published many works, most of them on library labels not available for sale to the public. His oeuvre stretches from classical, jazz, and funk to pop, psychedelia, and easy listening. Biography Born in Istanbul to a Montenegrin father and Greek mother, he studied piano, oboe and percussion as a child, and set up his own rock and roll band in the late 1950s. He moved to Paris in 1960, and played piano in nightclubs before joining a trio of Greek musicians, Les Doussis, with whom he played bass, guitar and keyboards. Biography He is known for painting the icons of the iconostasis of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Ježevica Monastery, the Orthodox church in Guča, the church of Žiča monastery, the monastery and the wooden church of Dobroselica, on the Zlatibor mountains. With his son Sreten Protić, he painted the iconostasis of the Church of the Holy Trinity in the village of Bjeluša, near Arilje, in 1831, and the Church of St. John the Baptist in Gorobilje. Janko Kos (born 9 March 1931) is a Slovenian literary historian, theoretician, and critic. He was born in Ljubljana in what was then the Kingdom of Yugoslavia as the son of the painter and sculptor Tine Kos. His father was a liberal and freethinker (during World War II a supporter of the pro-Communist Liberation Front of the Slovenian People), while his mother was a devout Roman Catholic.
