Jalan Pudu
Jalan Pudu is a major road in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. According to the Department of Survey and Mapping, Kuala Lumpur is divided into sections and, smaller still, into lots. A map of Kuala Lumpur from 1895 places Pudu (or ''Pudoh'', as it was back then) in a vast swampy area far from the administrative capital where Sultan Abdul Samad Building still stands. Pudu Sentral
The pudus ( Mapudungun ''püdü'' or ''püdu'', es, pudú, ) are two species of South American deer from the genus ''Pudu'', and are the world's smallest deer. The chevrotains (mouse-deer; Tragulidae) are smaller, but they are not true deer. The name is a loanword from Mapudungun, the language of the indigenous Mapuche people of central Chile and south-western Argentina. The two species of pudus are the northern pudu (''Pudu mephistophiles'') from Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru, and the southern pudu (''Pudu puda''; sometimes incorrectly modified to ''Pudu pudu'') from southern Chile and south-western Argentina. Pudus range in size from tall, and up to long. The southern pudu is classified as near threatened, while the northern pudu is classified as Data Deficient in the IUCN Red List. Petaling Street
Petaling Street ( Malay: ''Jalan Petaling'', Simplified Chinese: 茨厂街, Traditional Chinese: 茨廠街, pinyin: Cíchǎng Jiē, Cantonese jyutping: ci4 cong2 gaai1) is a Chinatown located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The whole vicinity is also known as Chinatown KL. Haggling is a common sight here and the place is usually crowded with locals as well as tourists. The area has dozens of restaurants and food stalls, serving local favourites such as Hokkien mee, Ikan Bakar (barbecued fish), '' asam laksa'' and curry noodles. Reggae Bar Chinatown is located here. Traders here are mainly Chinese but there are also Indian, Malay, and Bangladeshi traders. It is also known for street prostitution. History and development The original Chinatown is centred on Market Square, Jalan Tun H.S. Lee (or ''High Street''). Like all other historical urban centres, the capital city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, contains a number of current and old roads and streets across the city. Overview The names of the majority of older roads in and around Kuala Lumpur were originally formed during British rule in Selangor, and as such, were in English and named after British figures, a handful of local dignitaries or royalties, districts, local populations, landmarks or geographical features. ''Jalan'' ( ur, , lit=Jealousy) is a Pakistani television series premiered on ARY Digital on 17 June 2020. It is directed by Aabis Raza and produced by Fahad Mustafa and Dr. Ali Kazmi under Big Bang Entertainment. It stars Minal Khan, Areeba Habib, Emmad Irfani and Fahad Sheikh. The first teaser of the series premiered on 3 June 2020. The serial received huge criticism due to its misogynistic and regressive approach. Plot Nisha(Minal Khan) and Misha(Areeba Habib) are two sisters who belong to a middle-class background. Nisha is a selfish girl who is used to snatching better things from her sister which Misha gives her happily. Misha is nicknamed Meenu by her family.
