Jake Sisko
Jake Sisko is a fictional character in the ''Star Trek'' franchise. He appears in the television series '' Star Trek: Deep Space Nine'' (''DS9'') and is portrayed by actor Cirroc Lofton. He is the son of '' Deep Space Nine'' commanding officer, Benjamin Sisko. The character has also appeared in various other ''Star Trek'' books, comics, and video games. Overview Jake was born in 2355 to Jennifer Sisko, who was killed in 2367 during the Battle of Wolf 359 when Benjamin Sisko served aboard USS ''Saratoga'' (Jake was portrayed by Thomas Hobson for the Saratoga scene). Keiko O'Brien
Keiko O'Brien is a character in the fictional ''Star Trek'' universe, played by actress Rosalind Chao. Introduced in 1991, she is the civilian spouse of Starfleet crew member Miles O'Brien (played by Colm Meaney) appearing occasionally in later seasons of the series '' Star Trek: The Next Generation'' (1987–1994), and more frequently as a supporting character throughout ''Star Trek: Deep Space Nine'' (1993–1999), as well as in related media such as novels. The USS ''Defiant'' is the name of several starships in the Star Trek media franchise, most notably a vessel featured in '' Star Trek: Deep Space Nine'' (1993–1999). Introduced in the show's third season, it is a warship attached to the show's eponymous space station. The spacecraft was designed by Jim Martin, Gary Hutzel and Tony Meinger. "The Visitor" is the 75th episode of the American syndicated science fiction television series '' Star Trek: Deep Space Nine'' and the second episode of the fourth season. The episode was written by Michael Taylor and directed by David Livingston. It originally aired on October 9, 1995. Set in the 24th century, the series follows the adventures on Deep Space Nine, a space station located near a stable wormhole between the Alpha and Gamma quadrants of the Milky Way Galaxy. In this episode, an accident leaves Captain Benjamin Sisko frozen in time, leaving his son Jake with a lifelong obsession with rescuing his father, having his resolve tested when they briefly reunite every few decades. The episode was nominated for a Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation in 1996, but lost to ''Babylon 5''s "The Coming of Shadows".
