Jagapathi Babu
Veeramachaneni Jagapathi Rao Chowdary (born 12 February 1962), professionally known as Jagapathi Babu (), is an Indian actor known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. He has also appeared in a few Tamil, , Kannada and Malayalam films. In a career spanning 33 years, Babu has appeared in 170 feature films, and has received four Filmfare Awards and seven state Nandi Awards. He has worked with noted directors like Kodi Ramakrishna, S. V. Krishna Reddy, Ram Gopal Varma, Krishna Vamsi, E. V. V. Satyanarayana, Gunasekhar, Chandra Sekhar Yeleti, A. M. Rathnam, K. Raghavendra Rao, Radha Mohan, Mohan Raja, J. D. Filmfare Awards South
Filmfare Awards South is the South Indian segment of the annual Filmfare Awards, presented by the Filmfare magazine of The Times Group to honour both artistic and technical excellence of professionals in the Indian film industry encompassing four languages, namely, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. They were introduced in 1954, around the films released in 1952-53 and Filmfare Awards initially recognizing the Hindi film industry. In 1964 awards were extended in Tamil, Telugu, Bengali and Marathi, around the films released in 1963. The inclusion of the Malayalam cinema in the awards came in 1967 while Kannada cinema was recognized in 1970. Each industry is given its own set of creative awards in annual ceremonies that have predominantly been held in Hyderabad and Chennai. Boyapati Srinu
Boyapati Srinivas, commonly known as Boyapati Srinu or Boyapati Sreenu, is an Indian film director and screenwriter. Best known for directing mass action films in Telugu cinema, Boyapati has garnered two state Nandi Awards. Early life Boyapati Srinivas was born in Pedakakani in Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh. He obtained his degree from JKC College in Guntur and attended Nagarjuna University for post-graduation. His family runs a photo studio. Boyapati was interested in photography and worked as a part-time reporter for the Eenadu newspaper. To pusue a career in films, he moved to Hyderabad and his cousin Posani Krishna Murali recommended Boyapati to work in the direction department of Muthyala Subbaiah studio in 1997.
