Jacob Rogers
Jacob Dwight Rogers (born August 17, 1981) is a former American football offensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL) for the Dallas Cowboys. He played college football at the University of Southern California. Early years Rogers was born in Oxnard, California. He attended Oxnard High School, where he started as a quarterback, before switching to tight end as a sophomore. He also played defensive end, linebacker and punter (football position), punter. As a junior, he caught 17 passes for 201 yards and 5 touchdowns. As a senior tight end, he finished with 39 receptions for 412 yards (10.6 average yards) and 4 touchdowns, despite missing the last 4 games with a separated shoulder. Tight End
The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers. On the other hand, unlike offensive linemen, they are eligible receivers adept enough to warrant a defense's attention when running pass patterns. Because of the hybrid nature of the position, the tight end's role in any given offense depends on the tactical preferences and philosophy of the head coach as well as overall team dynamic. Carson Palmer
Carson Hilton Palmer (born December 27, 1979) is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 15 seasons, primarily with the Cincinnati Bengals and Arizona Cardinals. He played college football at USC where he won the Heisman Trophy in 2002 as a senior. Palmer was chosen by the Cincinnati Bengals first overall in the 2003 NFL Draft, and played eight seasons with the team. The 2004 Rose Bowl was a college football bowl game held on January 1, 2004 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. It was the 90th Rose Bowl Game. Redshirt, in United States college athletics, is a delay or suspension of an athlete's participation in order to lengthen their period of eligibility. Typically, a student's athletic eligibility in a given sport is four seasons, aligning with the four years of academic classes typically required to earn a bachelor's degree at an American college or university. Pete Carroll
Peter Clay Carroll (born September 15, 1951) is an American football coach who is the head coach and executive vice president for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL). He was previously the head football coach at USC from 2000 to 2009, where he won six bowl games and back to back National Championships in 2003 and 2004. Beginning his head coaching career on the professional level, Carroll saw minimal success with the New York Jets in 1994 and New England Patriots from 1997 to 1999. A touchdown (abbreviated as TD) is a scoring play in gridiron football. Whether running, passing, returning a kickoff or punt, or recovering a turnover, a team scores a touchdown by advancing the ball into the opponent's end zone.
