Julien Faussurier
Julien Faussurier (born 14 January 1987) is a French professional footballer who plays as a defender for Championnat National 2 club Saint-Colomban Locminé. Career Faussurier was born in Lyon, France. He signed for then Ligue 2 side Troyes AC in the summer of 2008 from Olympique Lyonnais. He stayed with Troyes for a spell of five years and in June 2013, agreed to a four-year deal with the Ligue 1 outfit Sochaux. In July 2016, he signed a two-years contract at Stade Brestois 29 (Ligue 2). On 19 July 2022, Faussurier returned to Sochaux. He signed a contract for one season with an option for a second season. The Championnat National (), commonly referred to as simply National or Division 3, is the third division of the French football league system behind Ligue 1 and Ligue 2. Contested by 18 clubs, the Championnat National operates on a system of promotion and relegation with Ligue 2 and the Championnat National 2, the fourth division of French football. Teams There are 20 clubs in the league, with three promoted teams from Championnat National replacing the three teams that were relegated to the same level, and three relegated teams from Ligue 1 replacing the three teams that were promoted to the same level. All clubs that secured Ligue 2 status for the season were subject to approval by the DNCG before becoming eligible to participate. The 2013–14 Ligue 1 was the 76th season since its establishment. The season began on 9 August 2013 and ended on 17 May 2014. Paris Saint-Germain were the defending champions.
