Julia Budd
Julia Budd (born July 4, 1983) is a Canadian mixed martial arts, mixed martial artist and Kickboxing, kickboxer competing in the Featherweight (MMA), featherweight division. She was the first List of Bellator MMA champions#Women's Featherweight World Championship, Bellator Women's Featherweight World Champion and has also fought in Strikeforce (mixed martial arts), Strikeforce'','' Invicta Fighting Championships'','' and Professional Fighters League (PFL). Martial arts training Budd practiced Muay Thai for many years and later became the only woman to defeat American Gina Carano in Muay Thai competition. Her second and final loss in the ring came by Germaine de Randamie, after which Budd made the move to MMA. Her Muay Thai record is 10–2. She began training in MMA at the end of 2008 and avenged her loss to de Randamie when she defeated her via unanimous decision in a 2011 MMA bout. Roberts Creek (Sechelt language, shíshálh Language: xwesam) is a community on the southern Sunshine Coast, British Columbia, Sunshine Coast, in British Columbia, Canada, and within Electoral Area D of the Sunshine Coast Regional District. Roberts Creek sits on the border of the ''shíshálh swiya'' (land, birthplace, "Territory" of the Sechelt Indian Band, shíshálh Nation) and the territory of the Squamish Nation, roughly halfway between the Gibsons, Town of Gibsons and the Sechelt, District of Sechelt, the region's two main population centres. History For thousands of years prior to European colonization of the Americas, European settlement, Roberts Creek was utilized seasonally by both the ''shíshálh Nation, shíshálh'' and Squamish people, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh peoples. Several salmon-bearing creeks drain into the Strait of Georgia, Salish Sea here, providing an excellent source of food.
