Joshua Derrell Harris (born January 22, 1991) is a former American football running back. He played college football at Wake Forest and signed as an undrafted free agent with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2014. High school career A 2009 graduate of Duncanville High School, Harris was a two-sport star in football and track. In 2007, Harris played on defense, recording 80 tackles. As a junior, he rushed for 900 yards and 6 touchdowns on 60 carries. During his junior year, he suffered a torn ACL in April 2008 and had surgery the following month. After extensive rehabilitation, he wouldn't return to play his senior season until October 24. He would accumulate 126 yards on 9 carries and one touchdown his first game back after injury. Joshua Harris (born September 9, 1982) is a former professional American football quarterback. College career During his two years as a starter at Bowling Green State University, he led the Falcons to consecutive finishes in the top 25 nationally. During his senior season, he led the Falcons to a victory over Northwestern University in the Motor City Bowl. Harris finished his college career as the school leader in rushing touchdowns (43), and is third in passing yards (7,503) and passing touchdowns. At the time, he and Antwaan Randle El were the only two quarterbacks to have ever thrown for 40 touchdowns and rushed for 40 touchdowns in their careers in NCAA Division I FBS history. Josh Harris (born April 27, 1989) is an American professional football long snapper for the Los Angeles Chargers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Auburn Tigers. He signed with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent in 2012. Early life Harris attended Carrollton High School in Carrollton, Georgia, where he was a three sport athlete in football, wrestling, and baseball. Professional career Atlanta Falcons Harris signed as an undrafted free agent with the Atlanta Falcons on April 26, 2012, following the 2012 NFL draft. Joshua "Jack" Harris (5 November 1891 – 1966) was a Scottish professional football player and manager. He made over 400 English Football League appearances in the years before and after the First World War. Harris is a co-founder of the private equity firm Apollo Global Management and managing partner of the NBA team Philadelphia 76ers, the NHL team New Jersey Devils, and the NFL team Washington Commanders. He is additionally a general partner of the English football club Crystal Palace F.C., Crystal Palace and holds a minority stake in Joe Gibbs Racing.
