Joseph Bankman
Alan Joseph Bankman (born 1955) is an American lawyer, currently working as the Ralph M. Parsons Professor of Law and Business at Stanford Law School, and a licensed psychologist. Education Bankman earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 1977 and a Juris Doctor degree from Yale Law School in 1980. He later earned a doctorate in clinical psychology from Palo Alto University. Career Bankman is considered a leading scholar in the discipline of tax law and is a compiler of two tax casebooks, including ''Federal Income Taxation''. Pamela Susan Karlan (born 1959) is an American legal scholar who is the principal deputy assistant attorney general in the Civil Rights Division of the United States Department of Justice. She is on a leave of absence from Stanford Law School. Old Fort Bay (also Old Fort Bay Club) is a private gated community, club, and former British colonial fort located in northwestern New Providence Island in The Bahamas just east of Lyford Cay. The clubhouse itself is the site of a fort that was built by the British during the 18th century to fend off pirates. Alameda Research was a cryptocurrency trading firm, co-founded in September 2017 by Sam Bankman-Fried and Tara Mac Aulay.
