Jordan Lynn Horston (born May 21, 2001) is an American basketball player for the Seattle Storm of the WNBA. She played college basketball for the Tennessee Lady Volunteers basketball, Tennessee Lady Volunteers of the Southeastern Conference. Horston was selected 9th overall by the Storm in the 2023 WNBA draft. Early life Horston attended Columbus Africentric High School in Ohio, where she played four varsity seasons. As a high school senior, she helped her team win their second straight state title, despite suffering from a fever the previous night. Despite having an off shooting night (3-for-20 from the field), she put up 10 rebounds and 6 assists and wore a surgical mask when on the bench to contain her cough. The Seattle Storm are an American professional basketball team based in Seattle. The Storm compete in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) as a member of the Western Conference (WNBA), Western Conference. The team was founded by Ginger Ackerley and her husband Barry Ackerley, Barry ahead of the 2000 WNBA season, 2000 season. Gabrielle Lisa Williams (born September 9, 1996) is an American-French professional basketball player for the Seattle Storm of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) and for Fenerbahçe of the Turkish Super League and EuroLeague Women. She was drafted 4th overall by the Chicago Sky in the 2018 WNBA draft. In 2022 she was a EuroLeague champion with Sopron and was named the Final Four MVP. Nnemkadi Chinwe Victoria "Nneka" Ogwumike (; born July 2, 1990) is an American professional basketball player for the Seattle Storm of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). She was drafted by the Los Angeles Sparks first overall in the 2012 WNBA draft and signed an endorsement deal with Nike, Inc., Nike soon after. Skylar Kierra Diggins (born August 2, 1990) is an American professional basketball player for the Seattle Storm of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Diggins was drafted third overall by the Tulsa Shock in the 2013 WNBA draft. In high school, she was the National Gatorade Player of the Year and the Gatorade Female Athlete of the Year. She played college basketball for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and led the team to three consecutive Final Fours and two consecutive NCAA championship appearances. 2024 Seattle Storm Season
The 2024 season for the Seattle Storm, a professional American basketball team based in Seattle, Washington, was their 25th season in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). It was their third full season with Noelle Quinn as head coach. The Storm play their home games at Climate Pledge Arena in the Lower Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle; the 2024 season was their first at a new training facility, the Seattle Storm Center for Basketball Performance in Interbay. 2023 Seattle Storm Season
The 2023 Seattle Storm season was the franchise's 24th season in the Women's National Basketball Association, and the second full season under head coach Noelle Quinn. Quinn took over in May of the 2021 season. Seattle started the season slowly, losing all three of their games in May and their first game in June. They would go on to win three more games in June, but would lose seven more to finish the month with a 4–8 record. The team lost their first eight games in July, and combined with two losses to end June, the Storm were on a ten game losing streak. The Auburn Tigers women's basketball program is the intercollegiate women's basketball team that represents Auburn University. The school competes in the Southeastern Conference in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Kellie Jolly Harper (born May 3, 1977) is the current head coach for the Missouri Tigers women's basketball team. She previously served as head coach of Western Carolina, NC State, Missouri State, and Tennessee. Holly Warlick
Frances Hollingsworth "Holly" Warlick (born June 11, 1958) is an American college basketball coach who was head coach for the Tennessee Lady Volunteers basketball, Tennessee Lady Volunteers. She replaced head coach Pat Summitt prior to the 2012–13 season and held the position until the end of the 2018–19 season. Warlick was inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in 2001.
