Jonty Maree Bush (born 25 June 1979) is an Australian politician, and the Labor state member for Cooper in the Queensland Legislative Assembly. Bush is a former public servant and community advocate, having been the CEO of the Queensland Homicide Victims Support Group. She was the 2009 Young Australian of the Year for her advocacy for victims of crime and the development of the One Punch Can Kill campaign. Charles Jonathan Driver (19 August 1939 – 21 May 2023), usually known as Jonty Driver, was a South African anti-apartheid activist, political prisoner, educationalist, poet and writer. Early life Charles Jonathan Driver was born in Cape Town in 1939 but spent the years of the Second World War in Kroonstad and Cradock with his mother and younger brother and his grandfather, who was the rector of the Anglican parish there. During this period, Driver's father did wartime service in North Africa, and was captured by the Axis forces at Tobruk, spending the rest of the war as a prisoner of war in Italy and Germany. When he came back to South Africa, the family moved to Grahamstown in the Eastern Cape, where his father was appointed chaplain at St. Andrew's College and where Jonty later did his schooling. Jonty Harrison is an electroacoustic music composer born 27 April 1952 in Scunthorpe, and currently living in Birmingham, England. Career Jonty Harrison studied with Bernard Rands at the University of York, graduating with a DPhil in Composition in 1980. Between 1976 and 1980 he lived in London, working at the National Theatre (where he produced the tape components for many productions, including ''Tamburlaine the Great'', ''Julius Caesar'', ''Brand'' and ''Amadeus'') and City University. Jonathan "Jonty" Parkin (1894–1972) was an English professional rugby league footballer who played the 1910s, 1920s and 1930s.
