Jonathan Beaulieu-Richard
Jonathan Beaulieu-Richard (October 10, 1988 – September 25, 2022) was a Canadian professional football player who was a linebacker for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Montreal Alouettes, and Ottawa Redblacks of the Canadian Football League (CFL) from 2013 to 2016. University football Beaulieu-Richard attended the University of Montreal, where he studied pharmacy and played CIS football with the Montreal Carabins from 2008 to 2012. He recorded 180.5 tackles, including 43.5 in his senior year, setting the team record for most tackles in a game and most tackles in a season. He is second in Carabins' history in career tackles. As a senior, he was named an RSEQ all-star. Linebacker
Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and typically line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and so back up the defensive linemen. They play closer to the line of scrimmage than the defensive backs (secondary). As such, linebackers play a hybrid role and are often the most versatile players on the defensive side of the ball; they can be asked to play roles similar to either a defensive lineman (such as stopping the runner on a running play) or a defensive back (such as dropping back into pass coverage). 2018 Quebec General Election
The 2018 Quebec general election was held on October 1, 2018, to elect members to the National Assembly of Quebec. The election saw a landslide victory for the Coalition Avenir Québec (CAQ) led by François Legault, which won 74 of 125 seats, giving the party a majority and unseating the Quebec Liberal Party. The Liberals became the Parliamentary opposition, official opposition with 31 seats. This election was the first won by the CAQ, which had previously been the third party in the legislature. Maskinongé (provincial Electoral District)
Maskinongé () is a provincial electoral district in the Mauricie region of Quebec which elects members to the National Assembly of Quebec. It notably includes parts of the city of Trois-Rivières, as well as the municipalities of Louiseville, Saint-Boniface, Saint-Étienne-des-Grès and Saint-Alexis-des-Monts. It was created for the 1867 election, and an electoral district of that name existed even earlier: see Maskinongé (Province of Canada). The 2016 Ottawa Redblacks season was the third season for the team in the Canadian Football League. The Redblacks finished in first place in the East Division with an 8–9–1 record. This was the first time in CFL history that a team with a losing record finished first in their division. The 103rd Grey Cup was a Canadian football game that was played on November 29, 2015 between the East Division champion Ottawa Redblacks and the West Division champion Edmonton Eskimos to decide the Canadian Football League (CFL) championship for the 2015 season. The game was played at Investors Group Field in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Shaw Communications was the presenting sponsor of the game; it was the first time in CFL history that the Grey Cup had been sponsored. The Eskimos won the contest 26–20 to claim their 14th Grey Cup championship in franchise history and first since 2005.
