Jonas Markovski (; born 17 March 1999) is an Australian Association football, soccer player who plays as a Forward (association football), striker for Preston Lions FC, Preston Lions. Club career Brisbane Roar On 20 September 2023, after a golden-boot winning campaign in the National Premier Leagues Victoria, NPL Victoria with Altona Magic SC, Altona Magic, Markovski signed a one-year contract with Brisbane Roar. He made his debut in an Australia Cup semi-final clash against Melbourne Knights FC, Melbourne Knights, replacing Thomas Waddingham in the 69th minute as the Roar advanced to the final after a 1–0 win. On 14 January 2024, Markovski scored his first goal for the club in a 3-2 win over Newcastle Jets FC, Newcastle Jets, coming on in the 71st minute and scoring Brisbane's 2nd goal to level the game. Altona Magic Soccer Club (Commonly known as Altona Vardar SC) is a soccer team based in Altona North, a western suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Jay O'Shea
James O'Shea (born 10 August 1988) is an Irish professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for club Brisbane Roar. While he is primarily an attacking midfielder, he can also operate as a winger and striker. O'Shea began his career with St Joseph's Boys AFC before moving on to play for Home Farm of the Leinster Senior League in 2005. He signed for Bray Wanderers after just two appearances for Home Farm and spent a year and a half with Bray. In 2008, O'Shea signed for Galway United, playing 60 games for the club in all competitions, and attracted a lot of interest from English Football League and Premier League teams. The 2023 National Premier Leagues was the eleventh season of the Australian National Premier Leagues football competition. John Markovski
John Markovski (born 15 April 1970) is an Australian soccer coach and former player. Markovski played in the National Soccer League (NSL) for Sunshine George Cross, Preston Lions (former Preston Makedonia), Morwell Falcons, Canberra Cosmos, Auckland Kingz, Carlton SC, Melbourne Knights and Perth Glory FC and was known Australia-wide for his excellent free kick taking skills. Markovski is currently head coach of Melbourne Knights and was recently coach of Altona Magic, Preston Lions, Fawkner Blues, Sunshine George Cross, Springvale White Eagles, Sydenham Park, Fitzroy City and Port Melbourne.
