Jon Hromek
Jonathan Hromek is the leader of the Saskatchewan United Party and the CEO and chairman of Adonai Resources II Corporation, an oil and gas exploration and production company. He was the first candidate to ever run for the party, in the August 2023 Lumsden-Morse by-election; He finished second to the Saskatchewan Party's Blaine McLeod with 23% of the vote. On October 3, 2023, Hromek was named the deputy leader of the party. In 2023, his company, Adonai Resources contributed $200,000 to the Saskatchewan United Party, roughly 40% of the total contributions for the party that year. On May 16, 2024, it was announced that Nadine Wilson stepped down as leader, and Hromek had been appointed as the new leader. Lyle Stewart
Lyle Eldon Stewart is a Canadian provincial politician. He is a current Saskatchewan Party member of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan. Stewart has been involved in politics since the 1970's. He served as the executive assistant to disgraced Minister Colin Thatcher, before Thatcher resigned and was convicted of first degree murder, for beating and shooting his ex-wife JoAnne Wilson. Later Stewart served as the MLA for Thunder Creek and a former Liberal who had crossed the floor to the Progressive Conservatives prior to that party winning power in the 1982 election. After Thatcher was imprisoned for the 1983 murder of his wife Stewart twice sought the PC nomination, first for the ensuing by-election in 1985 and again for the 1986 general election. Lumsden, Saskatchewan
Lumsden is a town in the Qu'Appelle Valley in south central Saskatchewan, Canada, 31 km northwest of the city of Regina. It is surrounded by the Rural Municipality of Lumsden No. 189. The town functions as both a farming community and an unofficial suburb of Regina. Lumsden has an active artistic community, which consists of many writers, painters and sculptors. History Settlers first arrived in 1881 and the area came to be commonly known as Happy Hollow. When the Qu'Appelle, Long Lake and Saskatchewan Railway came through the community in 1889, the name was changed to Lumsden after Hugh Lumsden, a senior engineer with the railroad. The town has been repeatedly flooded, with major flood events occurring in 1892, 1904, 1916, 1948, and 1969. Rawlco Radio Ltd. is a media company based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. The company is the sole proprietor of seven radio stations in the provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan. The Rawlco Radio Corporate Office is just south of Downtown Saskatoon, overlooking the South Saskatchewan River, at 715 Saskatchewan Crescent West.
