Jon Durham
Jonathan Durham (12 June 1965 – 16 March 2025) was an English footballer who played as a striker (association football), striker. He had brief spells for Rotherham United F.C., Rotherham United and Torquay United F.C., Torquay United throughout the 1980s and reached the final of the 1993–94 FA Vase with Taunton Town F.C., Taunton Town. Biography Durham was born on 12 June 1965. He attended Greasbrough Junior School and Wingfield Comprehensive School before entering the youth sector of Rotherham United F.C., Rotherham United. He made his senior debut during the 1983–84 Rotherham United F.C. season, 1983–84 season. His opportunities to stand out amongst players such as Ronnie Moore, John Dungworth, Terry Donovan (footballer), Terry Donovan and Phil Walker (footballer, born 1957), Phil Walker was difficult as he only made 11 appearances for the club. Greasbrough
Greasbrough is a small village in Rotherham, in South Yorkshire, England. The village falls in the Greasbrough Ward of Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council. Greasbrough had its own local council, Greasbrough UDC (Urban District Council), until its absorption into the County Borough of Rotherham in 1936. Until 1974 it was in the West Riding of Yorkshire. Greasbrough has 2,038 inhabitants and of land belonging to Earl FitzWilliam. It is located two miles (3 km) north of Rotherham. Dawlish is a seaside resort town and civil parish in the Teignbridge district in Devon, England.
