Jon Carpenter
Jon Carpenter is an American politician representing Missouri's 15th district in Kansas City's Northland and was elected in 2012 to the Missouri House of Representatives. Carpenter is the owner of his own marketing and advertising firm. He is also a member of the Gladstone Area Chamber of Commerce and the Northland Democratic Club. In 2020, he ran for the Clay County Commission Western and won by a narrow margin. Early life Carpenter attended St. Charles grade school, and St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Kansas City, Missouri. At North Kansas City High School, his hard work and determination earned him a spot as a National Merit Scholar and he received a scholarship to the University of Southern California. The Missouri House of Representatives is the lower chamber of the Missouri General Assembly. It has 163 members, representing districts with an average size of 37,000 residents. House members are elected for two-year terms during general elections held in even-numbered years. Missouri's house is the fourth largest in the United States even as the state ranks 18th in population. The only states with a larger lower house in the United States are New Hampshire (400), Pennsylvania (203) and Georgia (180). Republicans have controlled the State House since 2003. North Kansas City High School
North Kansas City High School (also known as NKCHS, NKC, and Northtown) is a high school in North Kansas City, Missouri, United States, with over 1,900 students enrolled. It is a part of the North Kansas City School District. The first graduating class found of record was in 1917 with three known graduates. The school began as an all-white school, due to the inhabitants of the community, and is now one of the most diverse and integrated schools in the nation. Since July 2001, Northtown has been an International Baccalaureate World School with Dr. Jane Reed as the program coordinator. The National Merit Scholarship Program is a United States academic scholarship competition for recognition and university scholarships administered by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC), a privately funded, not-for-profit organization based in Evanston, Illinois. Dianne Goldman Berman Feinstein ( ; born Dianne Emiel Goldman; June 22, 1933) is an American politician who serves as the senior United States senator from California, a seat she has held since 1992. Clay County is located in the U.S. state of Missouri and is part of the Kansas City metropolitan area. As of the 2020 census, the county had a population of 253,335, making it the fifth-most populous county in Missouri. Its county seat is Liberty.
