John Machnik
John F. Machnik (born February 14, 1968) is an American record producer and recording engineer from Madison, Wisconsin. He was the owner of Sleepless Nights Recording Studios from 1989 to 2001. Biography In 2000, he started recording comedy for Stand Up! Records, including Mitch Hedberg, Lewis Black "White Album", Lewis Black "Revolver", Lewis Black "End of the Universe", Ron White, Dave Attell, Doug Stanhope, Sklar Brothers, David Cross, Maria Bamford, Judy Gold, Marc Maron, Greg Proops, Dan Naturman, Tom Rhodes, Tim Slagle, Matt Kirshen, Rene Hicks, Jamie Kilstein, Hannibal Buress and Andy Andrist. In 2004, John recorded the Madison stint of the David Cross's "Shut Up, You Fucking Baby!" tour. Arlington Heights is a municipality in Cook County with a small portion in Lake County in the U.S. state of Illinois. A suburb of Chicago, it lies about northwest of the city's downtown. The Promise Ring
The Promise Ring was an American rock band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, that is recognized as part of the second wave of emo. Among various other EPs and singles, the band released four studio albums during their initial run: ''30° Everywhere'' (1996), '' Nothing Feels Good'' (1997), '' Very Emergency'' (1999), and '' Wood/Water'' (2002). Their first two albums solidified their place among the emo scene; their third effort shifted toward pop music, while their final record was much more experimental in nature. The band initially broke up in 2002 and has reunited sporadically since then to perform live, but no new material from the band has since been released. Farrell Randal "Randy" Sklar and Jason Nathan Sklar (born January 12, 1972), professionally known as the Sklar Brothers, are American identical twin brother comedians and actors best known for hosting the show '' Cheap Seats'', which aired for four seasons on ''ESPN Classic''. Life and career Randy and Jason grew up in suburban St. Louis, to a Jewish family. They went to the University of Michigan, where they joined the Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity. Doug Stanhope (born March 25, 1967) is an American stand-up comedian, author, political activist and podcast host. His stand-up material favors caustic and often obscene observations of life in the style of Bill Hicks and Bill Burr, which he delivers while consuming alcohol. Politically, he has favored libertarianism and once endorsed the Free State Project, a proposed political migration of at least 20,000 libertarians to a single low-population state to foster libertarian ideas. David Attell (born January 18, 1965) is an American stand-up comedian, actor and writer best known as the host of Comedy Central's '' Insomniac with Dave Attell'', which earned him a cult following. Ron White (born December 18, 1956) is an American stand-up comedian, actor and author, best known as a charter member of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. ''Revolver'' is an EP of outtakes made during the recording sessions of Lewis Black's first album, '' The White Album''. The title is a reference to the album '' ''Revolver'''' by the Beatles. This was done to acknowledge the fact that these were outtakes and different edits from the sessions of Black's earlier release. Mitch Hedberg
Mitchell Lee Hedberg (February 24, 1968 – March 30, 2005) was an American stand-up comedian known for his surreal humor and deadpan delivery. His comedy typically featured short, sometimes one-line jokes mixed with absurd elements and non sequiturs. Hedberg's comedy and onstage persona gained him a cult following, with audience members sometimes shouting out the punchlines to his jokes before he could finish them.
