John B. Larson
John Barry Larson (born July 22, 1948) is an American politician and businessman serving as the U.S. representative for since 1999. The district is based in the state capital, Hartford. A member of the Democratic Party, Larson chaired the House Democratic Caucus during the 111th and 112th United States Congress. Early life, education, and career Larson was born in Hartford, but has spent most of his life in nearby East Hartford. He grew up in a public housing project. He was educated at East Hartford High School and Central Connecticut State University. He worked as a high school history teacher and an assistant athletics coach at George J. Tim Larson
Timothy D. Larson (born December 12, 1958) is an American politician from Connecticut. Early life and education Larson was born on December 12, 1958, in East Hartford, Connecticut, to Raymond and Lois Pauline Larson. The youngest of eight children, one of Larson's brothers is politician John B. Larson. Larson was raised in Mayberry Village and attended East Hartford High School, graduating in 1976. Career He served on the East Hartford Town Council from 1990 to 1992, and received the most votes in the 1991 East Hartford Town Council election, but did not contest the 1993 municipal election. Edward Zigler
Edward Frank Zigler (March 1, 1930 – February 7, 2019) was an American developmental psychologist and Sterling Professor Emeritus of Psychology at Yale University. In addition to his academic research on child development, he was best known as one of the architects of the federal Head Start program. Early life and education Zigler was born in Kansas City, Missouri to Frank Zigler and Gertrude Gleitman Zigler. He attended the University of Missouri, Kansas City, where he received a B.S. in 1954.
