John Arnatt
John Edwin Arnatt (9 May 1917 – 21 December 1999) was a British actor, best known for his role in ''Doctor Who'' where he played Time Lord Cardinal Borusa in the 1978 serial ''The Invasion of Time'' (1978). Early life and education John Arnatt was born in Petrograd, Russia on 9 May 1917. His parents were Francis and Ethel Marion (née Jephcott) Arnatt. He attended Epworth College. Arnatt trained for the stage at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Career One of Arnatt's most high-profile roles was as "The Deputy Sheriff of Nottingham" in the fourth and final series of 1955-60 TV series ''The Adventures of Robin Hood'' starring Richard Greene. Detective Chief Inspector Walter Dew (17 April 1863 – 16 December 1947) was a British Metropolitan Police, Metropolitan Police officer who was involved in the hunt for both Jack the Ripper and Hawley Harvey Crippen, Dr Crippen. Early life Dew was born at Far Cotton, in Hardingstone, Northamptonshire, one of seven children to Walter Dew Sr (ca 1822–1884), a railway guard, and his wife Eliza (ca 1832–1914). ''Thriller'' is a British television series, originally broadcast in the UK from 1973 to 1976. It is an anthology series: each episode has a self-contained story and its own cast. ''Keeping Up Appearances'' is a British sitcom created and written by Roy Clarke. It originally aired on BBC1 from 1990 to 1995. The central character is an eccentric and snobbish middle-class social climber, Hyacinth Bucket ( Patricia Routledge), who insists that her surname is pronounced "Bouquet". The show consisted of five series and 44 episodes, four of which were Christmas specials. Production ended in 1995 after Routledge decided to move on to other projects. Barrie Stanton Ingham (10 February 1932 – 23 January 2015) was an English actor. He worked in television, on stage and in several films. Early life Ingham was born in 1932 in Halifax, West Yorkshire, to Irene (née Bolton) and Harold Ellis Stead Ingham. He was educated at Heath Grammar School and became a Royal Artillery officer.
