Jessica Pietersen (; born 23 June 1980) is an English singer. She is best known as member of the pop group Liberty X. Career 1999–2007: Liberty X and hiatus In a 1999 Pietersen starred the musical '' Gigi'' as the title role. In 2001, Pietersen auditioned for the ITV reality television music competition ''Popstars'', a show intended to form a new group from individual contestants, becoming one of the finalist. While the five winning contestants formed Hear'Say, the five runner-up contestants – Young, Tony Lundon, Kevin Simm, Kelli Young and Michelle Heaton – formed the group Liberty X and signed a multimillion-pound record contract with Richard Branson and V2 Records. Liberty X released three studio albums and enjoyed seven Top 10 singles from 2001 to 2005: Their biggest hit, " Just a Little", reached number one in May 2002; " Thinking It Over", "Got to Have Your Love", "Song 4 Lovers", and "Holding on for You" all reached the top 5 in the UK Singles Chart. "Song 4 Lovers" is a song by English pop group Liberty X, released as the lead single from their third studio album, '' X'' (2005). The song features uncredited vocals from Rev Run of Run-D.M.C. and was produced by Liberty X member Tony Lundon. The single was released on 26 September 2005 and peaked at 5 on the UK Singles Chart, becoming the band's highest-charting single from the album. Background The decision to feature Rev Run (Joseph Simmons), of the rap group Run DMC, was made by band member Tony Lundon, who produced the track while the band was recording their third studio album for the V2 Records label, which was later scrapped due to a dispute between the band and their management. The single was quickly picked up by Unique Corp, who chose to release it as an attempt to create a new direction for the band. The Hammersmith Apollo, currently called the Eventim Apollo for sponsorship reasons, and formerly and still commonly known as the Hammersmith Odeon, is a live entertainment performance venue, originally built as a cinema called the Gaumont Palace. Atomic Kitten were an English girl group formed in Liverpool in 1998, whose original lineup comprised Kerry Katona, Liz McClarnon, and Natasha Hamilton. Five (occasionally stylised as 5ive) are an English boy band formed in 1997 consisting of members Sean Conlon, Ritchie Neville, Scott Robinson, Abz Love and Jason "J" Brown. The Honeyz are a British Contemporary R&B, R&B girl group currently composed of members Célena Cherry, Heavenli Abdi and Cherry's sister, Candace Cherry, as a touring member. B*Witched are an Irish girl group consisting of twin sisters Edele and Keavy Lynch, Lindsay Armaou and Sinéad O'Carroll. ''The Big Reunion'' is a British reality-documentary series that began airing on ITV2 on 31 January 2013. The show featured chart-topping bands who were big in the UK pop music scene between the 1990s and early 2000s, and the programme followed them as they reunited for the first time in a decade and went through their two weeks of intensive rehearsals before finally stepping back on stage for a comeback performance.
