A member of the Republican Party, he previously served as a representative and senator from California and was the 36th vice president from 1953 to 1961 under President Dwight D. Eisenhower. The 168 Film Project is a Christian film festival. The contest starts with the random assignment of verses based on a theme from the scriptures Religious texts, including scripture, are texts which various religions consider to be of central importance to their religious tradition.
