Jimmy Flynn
James P. Flynn (February 5, 1934 – September 12, 2022) was an American teamster and film actor. He was a reputed member of the famous Winter Hill Gang. He appeared in films including ''Good Will Hunting'', ''The Cider House Rules'' and ''What's the Worst That Could Happen?''. Biography James P. Flynn was born in Somerville, Massachusetts. In 1982, Flynn was wrongly identified as a shooter in the murder of Winter Hill Gang mob associate Brian "Balloonhead" Halloran and attempted murder of Michael Donahue. He was tried and acquitted for the murder in 1986 after being framed by John Connolly and James J. Bulger. Flynn was a part of Boston's International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 25 labor union where he later ran the organization's movie production crew. He has also been the Teamster Union's transportation coordinator and transportation captain in the transportation department on numerous films, including ''The Departed'', '' Fever Pitch'' and ''Jumanji''. Jim Flynn (songwriter)
Jim Flynn (March 24, 1938 – May 8, 2019) was an American country music songwriter. He joined the United States Army and was part of "Operation Gyroscope" which was deployed to Germany as part of Cold War efforts. As a civilian, he returned to Lewiston and worked his way through business college. Later he became a high school teacher and sports coach, then sold textbooks to public schools. He began writing story songs on video sharing sites including YouTube. Early life Flynn was born in Lewiston, Maine to Lawrence and Katherine (McIlroy) Flynn. He was the fourth of five sons. He grew up in Monmouth, Maine and Lewiston, where he was a member of a high school choral group. In 1956, Flynn joined the United States Army. Jim Flynn (footballer)
James Edward Flynn (21 March 1871 – 21 August 1955) was an Australian rules footballer who played with Geelong and Carlton in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Family The son of John Flynn (1840–1928), and Ellen Flynn (1848–1935), née Moloney, James Edward Flynn was born on 21 March 1871. He married Ellen Agnes Cleary (1883–1965) in 1911. They had six children, the youngest of whom — a daughter, Anastasia Dorothy (b.1923) — died in 1933, at the age of 10. Football A ruckman, after a single game for Collingwood in the VFA in 1896, the Benalla-born Flynn started his career in earnest in 1897 where he was part of Geelong's inaugural VFL side.
