Jalan Kayu SMC
The Jalan Kayu Single Member Constituency is a Single Member Constituency (SMC) for the Parliament of Singapore. It is managed by Jalan Kayu Town Council. Located in the North-East Region, it was established in 2025 after being split from Ang Mo Kio Group Representation Constituency (GRC) and was first contested at the general election that occurred in the same year. The current Member of Parliament (MP) is Ng Chee Meng from the People's Action Party (PAP). History Jalan Kayu SMC was established for the 2025 general election, in order to reduce the number of voters in Ang Mo Kio Group Representation Constituency (GRC), which had the most electors out of all GRCs. Sengkang LRT Line
The Sengkang LRT line (SKLRT) is a elevated automated guideway transit line in Sengkang, Singapore. The driverless system consists of 14 stations on two loops, with Sengkang station serving as the interchange for both loops and linking the line to the North East MRT line. It is the second Light Rail Transit (LRT) line in Singapore and the first LRT line operated by SBS Transit. The SKLRT was planned in tandem with the development of the Sengkang estate. Construction of the LRT stations and viaducts was completed in 2001, and the Land Transport Authority transferred operations to SBS Transit in September 2002. The east loop began operations on 18 January 2003, followed by the west loop on 29 January 2005, with Kupang station being the last to open on 27 June 2015. Ang Mo Kio () is a planning area and residential town situated in the Central Region of Singapore. Seletar ( ) is an area located in the north-east of Singapore. Its name can also refer to the Seletar Planning Area (as defined by the Urban Redevelopment Authority), situated in the North-East Region of Singapore. The place name was derived from the Malay subgroup who were indigenous to the area, the ''Orang Seletar''. It shares boundaries with the planning areas of Sengkang to the south, Punggol to the east, Yishun and Simpang to the west, as well as the Straits of Johor to the north. Formerly Royal Air Force Station Seletar Royal Air Force military airfield site, the area now houses a new S$60 million Seletar Aerospace Park that spans 140 hectares. Sungei Punggol ( Malay for Punggol River; Chinese: 榜鵝河; Pinyin: Bǎng'é Hé) is a river located within the North-East Region in Singapore. Geography Other than Punggol New Town, the river flows through 7 other towns in the late 1990s and early 2000s, much of the river banks along Sungei Punggol have since been reclaimed and the river canalised. The Potong Pasir Single Member Constituency is a Single Member Constituency (SMC) in the central region of Singapore. It is managed by Jalan Besar Town Council. Andre Low Wu Yang (, born 1991) is a Singaporean politician. A member of the Workers' Party (WP), he has been serving as a Non-constituency Member of Parliament (NCMP) for the 15th Parliament of Singapore since 19 May 2025.
