Jake Breeland
Jacob Breeland (born November 20, 1997) is an American football tight end who is a free agent. He played college football at the University of Oregon and signed with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2020. Early years Breeland attended and played high school football at Trabuco Hills. College career Breeland enrolled at Oregon on August 21, 2015. Breeland first saw the field in 2016 as a redshirt freshman, becoming Oregon's starting tight end for his remaining three years at the university. Breeland missed the last eight games of his senior season due to an ACL tear. Breeland declared for the 2020 NFL draft. Tight End
The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense (sports), offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers. On the other hand, unlike offensive linemen, they are eligible receivers adept enough to warrant a defense's attention when running pass patterns. Because of the hybrid nature of the position, the tight end's role in any given offense depends on the tactical preferences and philosophy of the head coach as well as overall team dynamic. In some systems, the tight end will merely act as a sixth offensive lineman, rarely going out for passes. 2016 Oregon Ducks Football
The 2016 Oregon Ducks football team represented the University of Oregon in the 2016 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The team was led by fourth-year head coach Mark Helfrich and played their home games at Autzen Stadium for the 50th straight year. They were a member of the Pac-12 Conference in the North Division. Non-football Injury List
Non-football injury and non-football illness (NFI) are roster designations used in the National Football League (NFL) for players who are unable to practice as a result of conditions unrelated to football, or injuries that did not occur during NFL games or practices. They are similar to the physically unable to perform and injured reserve lists. Active/NFI Players who report to training camp injured or ill due to injuries or illnesses sustained outside of NFL practices or games can be placed on the active/non-football injury or active/non-football illness lists while they recover. A player cannot remain on an NFI list if they participate in a practice or game during the preseason. Players on these lists still count towards the 90-man roster limits prior to the start of the regular season.
