Jak Orion
Jack Moffitt is an Australian musician. He is known for his work as a member of indie rock band ''The Preatures'' (2010-2021), in which he worked as guitarist, vocalist, and producer. He used the alias Jak Orion on a 2010 release. Early life and education Jack Moffitt attended Newington College in Sydney, New South Wales, graduating high school in 2007. Along with his Preatures bandmate Tom Champion, he studied the Music 1 course in Years 11 and 12, and was also active in promoting and developing the contemporary music program. He was 2nd Captain of Music in his final year of school. In 2008 Moffitt and Champion both attended the Australian Institute of Music, where they met Isabella Manfredi, another future member of The Preatures. The Preatures
The Preatures are an Australian indie rock band from Sydney, New South Wales, who formed in 2010 and disbanded in 2021. The band consisted of lead vocalist and keyboardist Isabella Manfredi, Isabella "Izzi" Manfredi, guitarist and vocalist Jack Moffitt (musician), Jack Moffitt, bassist Thomas Champion, and drummer Luke Davison. Vocalist and guitarist Gideon Bensen was a member of the band until 2016. In 2013, the Preatures won the Vanda & Young Global Songwriting Competition with their song "Is This How You Feel?" They disbanded in 2021, following the launch of Manfredi's solo career. They reunited in December 2024 for a one-off concert to commemorate their tenth anniversary. "Creep" is the debut single by the English rock band Radiohead, released on 21 September 1992 by EMI. It was included on Radiohead's debut album, '' Pablo Honey'' (1993). It features "blasts" of guitar noise and lyrics describing an obsessive unrequited attraction. Radiohead had not planned to release "Creep", and recorded it at the suggestion of the producers, Sean Slade and Paul Q. Kolderie, while they were working on other songs. They took elements from the 1972 song " The Air That I Breathe" by Albert Hammond and Mike Hazlewood. Following legal action, Hammond and Hazlewood were credited as co-writers. Kolderie convinced EMI to release "Creep" as a single. It was initially unsuccessful, but achieved radio play in Israel and became popular on American alternative rock radio. Starting her career as a backup singer for her father, Cold Chisel frontman Jimmy Barnes, she started doing solo rock shows, and then cabaret.
