Jacques Groothaert
Baron Jacques Groothaert (1922–2009) was a Belgian diplomat retrieved 16 March 2011 (French) and entrepreneur. He was honorary chairman of the company ''SA Belge de Constructions Aeronautiques'' (SABCA), former Ambassador for Belgium to Mexico and China, and chairman of the Generale de Banque. He was a member of the Coudenberg group, a Belgian federalist think tank. In 1984 he founded, together with Lucien Le Lièvre, the American European Community Association (AECA) in Belgium. Coudenberg Group
The Coudenberg group (, ) was a Belgium, Belgian federalist think-tank, it was named after the place where the members met, the Coudenberg, one of the seven hillocks on which the centre of Brussels has been built. President of the organization was the lawyer Jean-Pierre De Bandt. Organisation The Coudenberg group was established on 6 June 1984 as a non-profit organization and was dissolved on 11 February 1999. The think-tank united leading people from the university, Public administration, administration, wikt:venture, ventures, trade unions and the profession, free professions.
