Jackpot (character)
Jackpot is the name of three superheroes appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The first incarnation of Jackpot, Sara Ehret, first appeared in the storyline "Swing Shift" in ''FCBD: Spider-Man'' #1 (May 2007), and was created by writer Dan Slott and artist Phil Jimenez. The second incarnation, Alana Jobson, debuted in ''The Amazing Spider-Man'' #545 (January 2008), having bought the Jackpot identity from Sara, whom she was in love with. Following Alana's death, Sara reclaims the mantle of Jackpot, renaming herself Alana Jobson II in Alana's honor. In the 2023 storyline ''Amazing Spider-Man: Armed and Dangerous, Armed and Dangerous'', Mary Jane Watson, Mary Jane "MJ" Watson takes up the mantle as the third Jackpot. Oscorp (sometimes stylized as OsCorp), also known as Oscorp Industries, is a fictional multibillion-dollar multinational corporation appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, predominantly in stories about Spider-Man.
