JKS Jarosław
JKS Jarosław is a Polish Association football, football club based in Jarosław. They currently play in the IV liga Subcarpathia, the fifth tier of the Polish football league system, Polish football league. History JKS Jarosław was officially formed in 1909 as Pogoń Jarosław, and entered the Eastern Galicia league several years later. After World War I the club changed its name to JKS Jarosłavia. In 1938, JKS Jarosłavia was changed to JKS Jarosław. On 25 May 1947, the new stadium was opened. To celebrate the opening of the stadium, JKS Jarosław played a Exhibition game#Football (soccer), friendly against Wisła Kraków, and Polonia Przemyśl. In 1962, JKS Jarosław played in the third tier of the Polish football league system, and achieved a club record highest league finish of second position. References External links

IV Liga Subcarpathia
IV liga Subcarpathia group (grupa podkarpacka) is one of the groups of IV liga, the fifth level of Polish football league system. The league was created in the 2000–01 season, after a new administrative division of Poland was implemented. Until the end of the 2007–08 season, IV liga was the fourth tier of league system, but this was changed with the formation of the Ekstraklasa as the top level league in Poland. The clubs from Subcarpathian Voivodeship compete in this group. The winner of the league is promoted to III liga, group IV. The bottom teams are relegated to the groups of the regional league from Subcarpathian Voivodeship. These groups are Dębica, Jarosław, Krosno, Rzeszów and Stalowa Wola. Jarosław (; , ; ; ) is a town in southeastern Poland, situated on the San (river), San River. The town had 35,475 inhabitants in 2023. It is the capital of Jarosław County in the Subcarpathian Voivodeship.
