Serge Petrovitch Ivanoff (25 December 1893, Moscow – 8 February 1983, Paris) was a Russian painter. Biography The son of a family of Moscovite merchants, Serge Ivanoff was artistic from a young age. On his parents' move to St. Petersburg he took the opportunity for further studies, and contact with Europe. Victor Ivanoff
Victor Arkhipovich Ivanoff (Виктор Архипович Иванов, 2 July 1909 Vilnius, Russia – 1990 Johannesburg, South Africa), a son of a Don Cossack general, was a South African artist, cartoonist and singer. Victor attended a Cossack military school and proved to be skilled at singing, and drawing under the guidance of General Nikolai Karpoff. After the October Revolution of 1917 when Bolsheviks came to power, the Ivanoff family was opposing the regime and fled to Yugoslavia in 1920 where Victor enrolled to study architecture at the University of Zagreb. His studies were abandoned and he joined General Platoff Don Cossack Choir on their tour which included visiting South Africa in 1936. Juan Carlos Bacileff Ivanoff (born 1 January 1949) is an Argentine politician who served as interim governor of Chaco Province from 2013 to 2015. He was vice governor of Chaco from 2007 to 2015, serving under Jorge Capitanich; upon Capitanich's appointment as Cabinet Chief of Argentina in November 2013, Bacileff Ivanoff stepped in as governor in interim position until Capitanich's dismissal in February 2015. From 2001 to 2005, he was a member of the provincial Chamber of Deputies for the Justicialist Party. Alexandre Barbera-Ivanoff is a French artist born in Paris, France, in 1973. Biography Alexandre Barbera-Ivanoff studied painting from the age of 12 in private workshop, with the painters Christian Welter, Gerard Di-Maccio, then Jean Bertholle. The compulsory military service gave him a unique experiment: ''Painter in the Earth Army''. He carried out with success frescoes, in particular in the Palace of King Mohammed VI in Marrakech (Morocco). On September 9, 2005 in Saint-Malo, France, Alexandre Barberà-Ivanoff made public his ''Proclamation on Essentialisme Artistique''. Jonathan Yamil Alexis Ivanoff (born 14 May 1989) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper. Career Ivanoff began in the youth of Juventud Cooperativista Quitilipi and Centenario de Venado Tuerto, before joining Sarmiento in 2003. Eugene Nicolaievich Ivanoff of Poland, who claimed to be Tsarevich Alexei Romanov in the mid-1920s, was one of the first in a long line of Romanov impostors to emerge from various parts of the world following the execution of Tsar Nicholas II and his family at Yekaterinburg on 17 July 1918. Ivanoff Head () is a small rocky headland, or probable island, which lies along the coast and is partly overlain by continental ice, situated west of the Hatch Islands at the head of Vincennes Bay, Antarctica. The feature was first mapped from aerial photographs taken by U.S. Navy Operation Highjump, 1946–47, and was named "Brooks Island" by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names in 1956. The name Ivanoff Head, inadvertently applied by Australia in 1961, has succeeded the earlier name in general use and is now recommended. Helicopter landings were made here by Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions from the ''Magga Dan'' in February 1960.
