Ivan Đurković
Ivan Đurković (; born 20 February 1986) is a Montenegrin handball player. Career Đurković spent two and a half seasons at Partizan, before moving to Croatia and signing with Varteks in January 2008. He would play for fellow Croatian club Metković in the 2011–12 season. Berane
Berane ( cyrl, Беране) is one of the largest towns of northeastern Montenegro and a former administrative centre of the Ivangrad District. The town is located on the Lim river. From 1949 to 1992, it was named Ivangrad ( cyrl, Иванград) in honour to people's hero Ivan Milutinović. The town has a population of over 11,000, whereas its municipality area reaches nearly 30,000 people, making it one of the largest centres of Polimlje area. During the medieval period the land of Berane was known as Budimlja (Будимља). It was of great holistic, political and economic importance in the medieval Serbian state and its rulers. Until 1455, when Turks took the city, Budimlja was part of the wider historical region of Raška, within the Medieval Serbia. The Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, commonly referred to as SFR Yugoslavia or simply as Yugoslavia, was a country in Central and Southeast Europe. RK Berane
Rukometni klub Berane is a handball club from Berane, Montenegro. RK Berane is former champion of Montenegro. History RK Berane was formed in 1949, under the name ''ORK Ivangrad''. For the first time in history, Berane gained promotion to the First League at the 1995, under the name ''Raj Banka''. During the start of the 21st century, Berane became permanent member of the First League of Serbia and Montenegro. After the Montenegrin independence, Berane played in the Montenegrin First League. RK Partizan
RK Partizan () is a Serbian handball club based in Belgrade. They compete in the Serbian Handball Super League and SEHA League. History The original club was founded in 1948. They competed for only a year until 1949. In January 1957, RK Dedinje became part of the Partizan sports society, thus reinstating the club's handball section. They made their Yugoslav Handball Championship debut in 1960. In 1973, the club suffered relegation from the league. They made a comeback to the top flight in 1991, shortly before the withdrawal of Croatian and Slovenian teams due to the Yugoslav Wars. The club would win three consecutive championships in 1993, 1994 and 1995, including back-to-back doubles in 1993 and 1994. RK Metković
Rukometni klub Metković – Mehanika is a men's professional handball club from Metković, Croatia. It is the only club to win a domestic title and the Croatian Cup, except RK Zagreb. Due to economic difficulties the club has not competed in Croatian Handball Premier League between 2010 and 2022. The first club was founded on 26 September 1963 under the name Mehanika. RK Metković has changed its name several times since his foundation, so it played under the names of Razvitak, Metković Jambo, and another team Metković 1963 until reunification. RK Bjelovar (Rukometni Klub Bjelovar) is a team handball club from Bjelovar, Croatia formed in 1955. The club currently competes in the Croatian Second League of Handball (North) and the Croatian Handball Cup. During Communist Yugoslavia, the club was known as Partizan, named after the Second World War's Yugoslav Partisans. After Croatian independence in 1991, the current name was adopted. Handball (also known as team handball, European handball or Olympic handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team.
