Hungarian Language
Hungarian () is an Uralic language spoken in Hungary and parts of several neighbouring countries. It is the official language of Hungary and one of the 24 official languages of the European Union. Outside Hungary, it is also spoken by Hungarian communities in southern Slovakia, western Ukraine ( Subcarpathia), central and western Romania ( Transylvania), northern Serbia (Vojvodina), northern Croatia, northeastern Slovenia (Prekmurje), and eastern Austria. István Bittó
Count István Bittó de Sárosfa et Nádasd (3 May 1822 in Sárosfa, Kingdom of Hungary (today Blatná na Ostrove, Slovakia) – 7 March 1903 in Budapest) was a Hungarian politician who served as Speaker of the House of Representatives of Hungary from 10 September 1872 to 23 March 1874 and as Prime Minister of Hungary from 1874 to 1875. Career Bittó studied law and entered into a legal civil service. During the Revolution of 1848–49, he was a revolutionary and a member of the Diet of Hungary. He emigrated after the defeat of Hungary in 1849 out of the country, but returned in 1851. From 1861 Bittó was a parliamentarian in the newly convened parliament to the Liberal Party of Ferenc Deák. After the compromise with Austria Bittó was the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives between 1869 and 1872. Count István Imre Lajos Pál Tisza de Borosjenő et Szeged (archaically anglicized Stephen Emery Louis Paul Tisza, in short Stephen Tisza; 22 April 1861 – 31 October 1918) was a Hungarian politician, prime minister, political scientist, international lawyer, macroeconomist, member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and champion duelist. The outbreak of World War One defined his second term as prime minister. István Pásztor (; sr, Иштван Пастор, Ištvan Pastor; born 20 August 1956) is a Serbian politician who has been the president of the Assembly of Vojvodina since 2012. An ethnic Hungarian, he has led the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians since 2008. He graduated from the University of Novi Sad Faculty of Law. István Pálfi (23 September 1966, Berettyóújfalu – 15 July 2006, Berettyóújfalu) was a Hungarian politician and Member of the European Parliament (MEP) with the Hungarian Civic Party, part of the European People's Party. István Nagy (born 6 October 1967) is a Hungarian agricultural engineer and politician who has served as Minister of Agriculture since 2018. Profession Nagy was born in Újfehértó, where he spent his childhood and attended elementary school. He finished his secondary studies at the János Balásházy Agricultural Secondary School in Debrecen in 1986. He attended the Pannon University of Agricultural Sciences, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences in Mosonmagyaróvár, where earned a degree of agrarian engineer in 1992. He graduated from the Faculty of Natural and Social Sciences of the Budapest University of Technology (BME) as an engineering teacher in 1996.
