Irving High School is a public high school in Irving, Texas. It was the first high school established in the Irving Independent School District. Irving High School includes, like all the other Irving ISD high schools, wireless internet in the classrooms, Chromebooks in every classroom, and a Distance Learning Lab. In 2009, the school was rated "academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency. Irving Independent School District is a school district based in Irving, Texas ( USA). The district, which covers , serves most of the city of Irving, except for Valley Ranch and a portion of Las Colinas. The district also serves small portions of Grand Prairie and Dallas. Daryl Lewis Washington (born October 9, 1986) is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the TCU Horned Frogs, and was selected by the Cardinals in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft. In May 2014, he was suspended indefinitely by the league for violating its substance abuse policies and was not reinstated until April 2017, where he was released by the Cardinals shortly after. Tyson Calvin Thompson (born May 21, 1981) is a former American football running back/kick return specialist in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys. He played college football at San Jose State University. Early years Thompson attended Irving High School. As a junior in 1998, he rushed for 525 yards in a single game against L. D. Bell High School (Hurst, Texas), third most in Texas high school history and the most ever by a runner in UIL Class 5A, which at that time housed the state's largest schools. As a senior, he rushed for 2,418 yards on 358 carries and was a semi-finalist for the 1999 Texas Class 5A Player of the Year award. Trevor John Story (born November 15, 1992) is an American professional baseball second baseman and shortstop for the Boston Red Sox of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the Colorado Rockies. He made his MLB debut in 2016. John Moore (born 1967) is an American photographer. He works for Getty images among others. His work has received several awards, including a Pulitzer Prize in 2005. Kelvin Mitchell Korver (born February 21, 1949) is a former American football defensive tackle who played three seasons with the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League (NFL).
