Ireland AM
''Ireland AM'' is an Irish morning television show on Virgin Media One. It airs live every weekday from 07:00 to 10:00, and weekends from 9:00 to 12:00. The program features news, current affairs, weather updates, showbiz, fashion, beauty, food, health, home and garden. Its current weekday presenters are Alan Hughes, Muireann O'Connell and Tommy Bowe. The show is currently sponsored by Fairy, Febreze, Lenor, Ariel and Flash while the programme was previously sponsored by P&G, Unilever, Dolmio and Kellogg's. As of 2021, Ireland AM is the only Irish breakfast programme currently airing. As part of a new daytime schedule line up, from Monday 7 October 2019 the programme was extended to 11:00 am on weekdays, with the weekend editions now rebranded as Ireland AM too. In March 2020 it reverted to airing till 10:00 am on weekdays. Fairy (brand)
Fairy is an international brand, primarily used for washing up liquid and dishwasher detergent, owned by the American multinational consumer products company, Procter & Gamble. The brand originated in the United Kingdom and is now used on a number of P&G products in various markets. It is closely related to the Dawn dishwashing product range sold in the USA and to Dreft, Yes and JAR brands used by P&G in various European and international markets. Claire Byrne (born 11 August 1975) is an Irish journalist and television presenter. Byrne presented ''The Daily Show'' from September 2010 to March 2012. In 2013, she became an anchor on RTÉ's flagship current affairs programme ''Prime Time''. The Big Breakfast
''The Big Breakfast'' is a British breakfast light entertainment television programme that was broadcast on Channel 4. Originally presented by Chris Evans and Gaby Roslin, the show was latterly presented by Mo Gilligan and AJ Odudu. The programme was distinctive for broadcasting live from a real house (which had been lock-keepers' cottages), commonly referred to as "The Big Breakfast House", or more simply, "The House", located on Fish Island, in Bow in east London. Mark Anthony Cagney (born 11 June 1956) is an Irish television presenter and journalist, best known for presenting ''Ireland AM'', the breakfast show on TV3 from 1999 to 2019. Early life Born in Cork, Ireland, Cagney was one of eight children in the family; he left home at age 15 because of difficulties with his father, who he described as a "remarkable man": an inventor, a musician, a welder, a mechanic, and a lecturer in electronics.
