''Insomnia'' is a 1994 horror literature, horror/fantasy literature, fantasy novel by American writer Stephen King. It follows retired widower Ralph Roberts whose increasing insomnia allows him to perceive auras and other hidden things, leading him to join a conflict between the forces of the Purpose and the Random. Gage William Creed is a fictional character created by Stephen King who is the primary antagonist of his 1983 novel ''Pet Sematary''. In the novel, Gage is an innocent child who is killed by a speeding tanker truck accidentally. Atropos (; grc, Ἄτροπος "without turn") or Aisa, in Greek mythology, was one of the three Moirai, goddesses of fate and destiny. Her Roman equivalent was Morta. Lachesis ( ; grc, Λάχεσις, Lákhesis, disposer of lots; from , 'to obtain by lot, by fate, or by the will of the gods'), in ancient Greek religion, was the second of the Three Fates, or Moirai; the others were her sisters, Clotho and Atropos.
