Ihor Lapin
Ihor Lapin (born 28 May 1969, in Ivanychi) is a Ukrainian lawyer and politician, who is a former (2014-2019) People's Deputy of Ukraine. During the War in Donbass (eastern Ukraine) he was commander of the 2nd assault squadron "West" of the 24th Battalion of Territorial Defense " Aidar" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, formed mainly from volunteers from Volyn Oblast. Before the war, he worked as a lawyer, and was a member of the Bar Qualification-Disciplinary Commission of Volyn Oblast. Biography Lapin was born on 28 May 1969 in Ivanychi, Volyn Oblast, Ukraine (then part of the USSR). In 1986 he graduated from high school number 1 in Kovel. In the same year he entered the historical faculty of the Lutsk Pedagogical Institute. Shchastia
Shchastia ( uk, Ща́стя, lit=Happiness, translit=Shchastia, ; russian: Сча́стье) is a city in the Shchastia Raion of the Luhansk Oblast (province) in Ukraine. The Territorial Defence Forces ( uk, Війська територіальної оборони, translit=Viiska terytorialnoi oborony) are the military reserve component of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Separatist Forces Of The War In Donbass
The Donetsk People's Militia and Luhansk People's Militia (formerly also called Russian separatist forces in Donbas) are pro-Russian paramilitaries in the Donbas region of eastern Ukraine, which have been fighting the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Russo-Ukrainian War. During the Donbas War (2014–2022), they were affiliated with the self-declared Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and Luhansk People's Republic (LPR). They supported the Russian military during the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.
