Ian Glover
Ian Glover (born 8 November 1978) is a former professional snooker player from Doncaster. He practises at the Jeff Cundy snooker centre in Scunthorpe and the Sheffield Star Snooker Academy. His practice partners are the club's owner Jeff Cundy, retired professional Barry West, Ben Woollaston and Stuart Carrington. Career Glover first entered Main Tour for the 1995–96 season for the first of three seasons in the 1990s; however, he had little success and only won £50 from the last 128 of the Masters Qualifying Event in 1998. After dropping of the tour in 1999, Glover took a hiatus from 2001 before returning to snooker in 2009, playing the secondary Pontins International Open Series tour, Glover finished the season 43rd in the Order of Merit with his best result being a quarter final defeat to Alfie Burden in the second event. Doncaster

Players Tour Championship
The Players Tour Championship was a series of snooker tournaments comprising some minor-ranking events played in Europe, and an Asian leg comprising some minor-ranking events in Asia. The series concluded with a Grand Final, where qualification was based on performance in the other PTC events, and had the status of a full ranking tournament. Each regular event lasted for at least three days, with qualifying days for amateurs should the event be oversubscribed. Each event costs £100 to enter, and Main Tour players can gain ranking points in the events. History The inaugural series ran from late June, with six events at the World Snooker Academy in Sheffield, one in Gloucester and another five in mainland Europe (with 3 in Germany). The European Tour 2014/2015 – Event 1 (also known as the 2014 Kaspersky Lab Riga Open) was a professional minor-ranking snooker tournament that took place between 7–10 August 2014 at the Arena Riga in Riga, Latvia. The Asian Tour 2014/2015 – Event 1 (also known as the 2014 Yixing Open) was a professional minor-rankingsnooker tournament that took place between 17 and 21 June 2014 at the Yixing Sports Centre in Yixing, China. Jamie Clarke (snooker Player)
Jamie Clarke (born 5 October 1994) is a Welsh professional snooker player. Career Clarke drew attention in 2014 when he defeated former world number 8 Darren Morgan in 6–0 whitewash in the semi-finals of the Welsh Amateur Championship before going on to defeat Lee Walker to capture the highest ranking and most prestigious amateur event in Wales. In 2015 Clarke entered several events in an attempt to qualify for the World Snooker Tour and narrowly missed out by losing in the final of tournaments on 3 occasions. In April, Clarke lost 3–4 in a final-frame decider to Martin O'Donnell in the final round of the EBSA Qualifying Tour Play-off. Clarke would go on to enter Q School in May 2015, but would be unable to advance further than the third round. Gareth Allen
Gareth Allen (born 9 September 1988 in Mynydd Isa, near Buckley, Flintshire) is a Welsh former professional snooker player. Career Allen started playing snooker aged three, joining his local snooker club and playing on full sized table at twelve. In a lengthy amateur career, Allen made his debut for the Welsh international side aged eighteen, where he reached the last 16 of the 2010 Amateur World Snooker Championship and narrowly missed out on a professional tour card in 2013, where he lost in the final to Robin Hull in the EBSA European Snooker Championships. The World Grand Prix became a ranking event featuring the top 32 players on a one-year money list, having been a non-ranking event the previous season. 2014–15 Snooker Season
The 2014–15 snooker season was a series of snooker tournaments played between 8 May 2014 and 4 May 2015. The Riga Open was the first professional snooker tournament held in Latvia. The season also saw the first professional tournament in Portugal as the Lisbon Open took place. In November, it was announced that the World Open would not be held this season after the contract with the promoter was not renewed and a new venue was not found in time. But the intention was to bring the event back for the next season. The structure of the World Championship was changed. The top 16 seeds still qualified automatically for the first round at the Crucible, but all non-seeded players had to start in the first of three qualifying rounds. Anthony McGill
Anthony McGill (born 5 February 1991) is a Scottish professional snooker player. He is a practice partner of retired snooker player Alan McManus. McGill turned professional in 2010, after finishing fourth in the 2009/2010 PIOS rankings. He won the 2016 Indian Open, after having previously never been beyond the quarter-final stage of a ranking event. Career Amateur years He was runner-up to Stuart Carrington in the 2006 Junior Pot Black. He was runner-up in the 2008 European Under-19's Championship behind Stephen Craigie. 2010 World Open (snooker)
The 2010 12bet.com World Open was a professional ranking snooker tournament held between 18 and 26 September 2010 at the S.E.C.C. in Glasgow, Scotland. This was the first time that the World Open was sponsored by 12bet.com. Ronnie O'Sullivan made the 73rd official maximum break during his match against Mark King. This was O'Sullivan's record 10th official 147, however he had to be persuaded by referee Jan Verhaas to play the final , as he became aware that there was no distinct prize money for a maximum break in the tournament and planned to end his break at 140.
