The International Organization for Standardization (ISO ) is an international standard development organization composed of representatives from the national standards organizations of member countries. Membership requirements are given in Article 3 of the ISO Statutes. ISO was founded on 23 February 1947, and (as of November 2022) it has published over 24,500 international standards covering almost all aspects of technology and manufacturing. It has 809 Technical committees and sub committees to take care of standards development. Independent System Operator
A regional transmission organization (RTO) in the United States is an electric power transmission system operator (TSO) that coordinates, controls, and monitors a multi-state electric grid. The transfer of electricity between states is considered interstate commerce, and electric grids spanning multiple states are therefore regulated by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). The voluntary creation of RTOs was initiated by FERC Order No. 2000, issued on December 20, 1999. The purpose of the RTO is to promote economic efficiency, reliability, and non-discriminatory practices while reducing government oversight. An independent system operator (ISO) is similarly an organization formed at the recommendation of FERC. Džamba
Iso Lero, known as Džamba, was a Yugoslavian gangster based in Belgrade, Serbia. He was called "the Don of Dorćol". He disappeared on 23 September 1992, after having received a beating from several members of the Arkan's Tigers paramilitary, near the Beograđanka building. Early life Džamba was born in an ethnic Romani family in 1953. He grew up on Dobračina Street in the Belgrade neighborhood of Dorćol where his family shared a yard with Džamba's maternal cousin, singer Džej Ramadanovski. Career in crime He began his criminal career in his youth. He was jailed at the Central Prison in 1976 for purse snatching and fighting at a bus station in Belgrade. Volmari Iso-Hollo
Volmari "Vomma" Fritijof Iso-Hollo (5 January 1907 – 23 June 1969) was a Finnish runner. He competed at the 1932 and 1936 Olympics in the 3000 m steeplechase and 10000 m and won two gold, one silver and one bronze medals. Iso-Hollo was one of the last " Flying Finns", who dominated distance running between the World Wars. As a youth, Iso-Hollo did skiing, gymnastics and boxing, and took up running when he joined the army. He was successful over distances between 400 m and marathon. Iso-Hollo won his first Olympic gold medal in the 3000 m steeplechase at the 1932 Summer Olympics. He was denied a chance at the world record because the officials lost count of the number of laps – the lap-counter was looking the wrong way, being absorbed in the decathlon pole vault. Countess , born Gertrude Ethel Passingham, was a British writer. is a Japanese animator, director, and screenwriter. He began his career as an animator in the mid-1980s and worked as a freelance artist through Neomedia, Studio Zaendo, and Studio Ghibli. Iso is known for his offbeat key animation in the prologue of '' Gundam 0080'', large portions of Asuka's battle in '' The End of Evangelion'' and the first half of the tank battle in '' Ghost in the Shell''. Career Iso has worked on '' Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam'' and '' Gundam ZZ'' since 1985 as a key animator and in-betweener. Iran Scout Organization ( Persian: سازمان پیشاهنگی ایران, ''Sazman-e Pishahengi-ye Iran'') was founded in 1925 under the rule of Reza Shah Pahlavi. Currently Iran is one of 29 countries where Scouting exists (be it embryonic or widespread) but where there is no National Scout Organization which is a member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement at the present time. History Scouting in Iran was founded by volunteers and established by Sir Mirza Ahmad Aminzadeh in 1925, and formally developed in 1928 as a department of the Ministry of Education, which at the time engendered a lack of public support.
