Inglewood Cobras
Inglewood Cobras was a professional basketball team of the American Basketball Association (known as the ABA). It was formed in 2005, and based in Inglewood, California. It played in the league's Spencer Haywood Division. Inglewood Cobras folded after playing five games in the ABA league's 2005–2006 season. Ownership and roster One of the high-profile investors in the team was well-known American rapper The Game. The American Basketball Association (ABA) was a major professional basketball league that operated for nine seasons from 1967 to 1976. The upstart ABA operated in direct competition with the more established National Basketball Association throughout its existence. The second of two leagues established in the 1960s after the American Basketball League, the ABA was the more successful rival to the NBA. Compton High School is a high school in Compton, California, United States, part of the Compton Unified School District. History Compton Union High School opened in 1896. Both the high school and Compton Junior High School were severely damaged in the 1933 Long Beach earthquake.
